Dr. Ploch grew up active in the Boy Scouts of America achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. Also, much of his time was devoted to competitive swimming with the gratification of being awarded a college scholarship. After graduating from the University of Tennessee Dental School in 1981, he established his practice in his hometown of Memphis. Dr. Ploch has been married to his wife, Beth, for 36 years and has two married daughters and two grandchildren. In his time away from the office he enjoys the outdoors working in his yard and garden. Traveling with family and friends is another way Dr. Ploch looks forward to spending time off.
Dr. Ploch has practiced dentistry for 38 years in Memphis and Collierville Tn. He has been privileged to meet the needs of of a diverse population throughout his professional career. His goal is to provide an individualized plan of treatment that meets the needs and expectations of each patient. Dr. Ploch feels that the quality outcomes and satisfied patients have made the practice of dentistry a rewarding life-long profession.
After graduating Tulane University, Dr. Ploch pursued his interest in biology at Memphis State University (U of M) where he received his Master’s degree. While there he decided to pursue his interest in the health sciences and enrolled in the College of Dentistry at the University of Tennessee. Upon graduation Dr. Ploch practiced at National Dental Health Affiliates P.C. and Holiday City Family Dentistry P. C. In 2003 he moved his practice to Collierville. He is pleased to continue his career with American Family Dentistry.
